JotBase ("the App") is a personal record-keeping application that uses AI to automatically organize your notes and entries. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
2.1 Account Information
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and display name (if provided by the sign-in provider). We do not receive your password.

We collect information related to your subscription or in-app purchases through RevenueCat, including subscription status, purchase history, and remaining usage credits. We do not collect or store your payment card information. All payment processing is handled by Apple.
2.4 Usage Data
We may collect basic anonymized usage information such as app crashes and error logs to help improve the App.

Your content is sent to Google's Gemini API solely for classification purposes. As a paid API customer, Google does not use your prompts or responses to train their AI models.
Your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework, and in the cloud via Supabase with servers located in the United States. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
JotBase is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
